James and Sinead were really helpful, answered all the questions we had as a group. Showed us all around the school very well and with confidence - lovely school.
Very impressed. All students seemed engaged and most importantly happy. Very nice atmosphere. Cal did a great job!
I really liked the friendly school environment and the small playground for reception class.
The staff and pupils are kind, helpful and welcoming. The school itself is full of potential and information. We were very impressed with Sinead and James they did a great job and deserve a pat on the back.
James and Sinead gave us a lovely visit to the school. Answered all questions asked.
We had a lovely visit. Isla did not want to leave and Olivia was really nice.
Very informative, students seem polite and friendly. Very impressed by the buddy system.
Really nice to see the gorgeous reception class receive their bibles in church on Sunday. They were so confident standing in front of the whole congregation singing incy wincy spider and they knew all the actions. Mr Heatley needs a little practise though! The animal finger puppets they made in Sunday School looked amazing too. Welcome to St John’s. This terms Christian value of ‘thankfulness’ is certainly appropriate. Thankful to have such amazing children, great teachers and to be part of the warm and friendly community of St John’s.
The inspire sessions have been a really good idea for the children to get used to the environment. Lili -Mae has been made to feel welcome. She certainly likes to keep her mind active. These sessions have allowed her to explore and get to know the staff. She likes to please and loves spending time with elders. Loved weighing with Miss Cavanagh and doing numbers with Mrs Elsdon. She is very excited to spend time in the next session on her own. By the time September comes she will be will be happy with settling into her new school environment. The sessions are beneficial to all children.
Really glad you have inspire classes, as I was worried how Finley would settle, but he enjoys coming and cannot wait to start in September. Miss Cavanagh makes you feel at ease and gives good detailed explanations on arrival. :-) Thank you!
