Year 6 children are allocated a Reception child to be their buddy. They write a letter of introduction in the Summer term before Reception children start to tell them all about St John's. The Year 6 children come to meet their buddy at the Inspire Teddy Bears Picnic and they help them settle into school in September. They are a friendly face and reassurance as Reception class start their St John's journey.
